"Forces and Fragmentation" is a continuous exploration of pattern, shape and texture involving glass and different metals, specifically copper, brass and occasionally, silver. Each pattern is designed and made by the artist in a meticulous process. The patterns are encapsulated inside the layers of glass, capturing and solidifying time, movement and breath. Shapes of leaves, embroidery, folk motives, timeless and fantasy patterns each give character and personality to them. The vases are unique handicraft artworks on their own merits, with names by which they are each archived, labeled and remembered.
